also known as 红油抄手 and is commonly found in most shanghai-nese restaurants. this one in particular is from Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao.
i find that this is probably the best dumpling dish from Crystal Jade La Mian and not their xiao long bao - although that's not bad. there's better xiao long bao elsewhere - The Eastern Restaurant at Centrepoint specifically. incidentally, the spicy dumplings there's not bad too.
i can't wait to go to Taipei mid-next month. i'm missing the stewed meat rice.
